This will be a compilation of links to search out chemicals used in offset printing, silk screen, gravure, inkjet, flexo, letterpress, uv, aqueous coatings, foil stamping and other processes used in putting ink on something.
Please add any links that you find.
If you find data that is 10, 20 , 30 or 50 years old that means that the chemical has been under scrutiny, health investigation, or environmental concerns for a long time.
When you have a question on a chemical get its cas# and enter it into the following links. These are government funded.

Another search HSIS - Search Hazardous Substances
The MSDS listed on GSB are not up to date and are not what you recieve now. The MSDS from GSB are now handled by chemwatch and are by far the most comprehensive msds I've ever come accross.
EG: I recieved one for their roller wash and it was a 16 section msds with 10 pages of info.
 
This is the latest California PROP 65 list.

Go to your MSDS or SDS and see if any of the cas numbers are on this list.

Now you must ask yourself. What is more important the health of my family and myself or the supplier making a profit.

The ironic thing about all this is the employees of the supplier making the stuff are exposed just as bad if not worse than you the user.
