Duplo System 4000

Hey guys, I've been looking around and found some decent deals on some duplo 4000's. Just wondering what the opinion on buying something this old? I know parts would be harder to find, but I've seen a few used equipment places that still carry parts for them. If one could be picked up for

It's a good piece of gear. We've had a System 3000 and a DBM 200 for about 10 years now. As you say, the only problem is parts. Duplo USA will no longer supply parts for the older equipment, so, you will be relegated to finding some used equipment people to either cannibalize trashed machines for parts, or, supply what parts they still have. Main shaft went out on one of ours, and, we had to have a machine shop mill the part for us.
