I work for a small newspaper in South Australia and the boss is looking at a new or secondhand inserter. We currently have a Muller Martini dodged up machine which isn't really for newspapers and has given us a lot of trouble over the years.
I've been googling and came across the Ferag Minisert (which looks excellent and would suit out needs by the looks). Does anyone know how much these are, new and secondhand prices? We are also looking at a Muller Martini Alfaliner.
We print 3 or 4 sections for our weekly newspaper and also have anywhere between 3-10 inserts every week.
We have 2 Goss towers and a couple of mono units. Everyone wants colour these days so it's mainly 16 page sections.
Any help or advice would be great.
