I have setup a new curve for my process, but How do i set up a curve to a Spot colour? I'm using SymphonyCalibrator. When i send a job to RIP, it fails on the Spot colour. i would then have to assign a black curve and retry the job again. SymphonyCalibrator does offer additional curves, but are named LightMagenta, LightCyan, MixMagenta and MixCyan

Im a former esko guy, but I never used Symphony.
But, with a simple google search I found a manual for Symphony.

On page 2:
• Angles (selected by default when you activate the drop-down menu), • CMYK (4 color proofer),
• CMYKcm (6 color proofer with light Magenta and light Cyan),
• CMYKcmk (7 color proofer with light Magenta, light Cyan and grey),
• Custom Names (you can use up to 12 fields to specify your own separation names).

I hope this might help.

You have to set the default curve (for me with the magenta data) to manage with spot color.

I'm using this setting for years without problem
