AE Pilot Job Setup Inks Tab question

Hi,
Running AE 14.1.1
In the Job Setup Section under the Inks Tab we enter the inks for the order in which they should be listed, similar to Ink Manager in Illustrator. We need this for "Ink order" when running PDF's out of InDesign.
Anyone know how to make custom colors? When we make a custom color we just get a Red X and it doesn't read it properly.

Names must match the inks in your custom book exactly. Try copying and pasting the name of the ink from you book and see if that works. Screenshot attached that show the correct ink on top and the misspelled one below that. Hope it helps.

How do I get the color it into the custom book?

Go into color engine pilot, select InkBooks, File ->New, name the ink book and select pages etc. Then you can enter custom inks by LAB, scanning copy and paste. Then you can use those inks in anything linked to AE (Deskpack, Artpro, Pilot, Viewer)

Thanks WI-Flexo!

You can enter any custom color name after a double click on white space below the column "Ink Name". (Pilot->Job Setup->Inks Tab)
Procedure: Double-Click on the white space under "Ink Name" column and then enter any ink name you want and press Enter.
After that you will get the ink with the name entered preceded by a red X with, probably, ink book "Designer"
If you get just a red cross, it means, that you double-clicked the white space, but did not entered any Ink Name.
To get rid of the red X near the ink name, you will have to put this ink into one of the the color books, using the method WI-Flexo described.
