Unhappy Kodak 1200i Color bands

I am getting a magenta and cyan burn bar in the middle of my prints. I have cleaned the reader strip extensively and have performed all the tests with no problems arising. In all actuality, the printers tests have never looked better (color db tests and the like).
I changed out a couple of burned up connection strips between the cartridge/heads and the carriage, but this has not fixed the problem. Is this a driver problem? Profile? Ground?

Please help if you can.

Thanks

The Stainless Rat
