Unhappy Indesign CS2 will not install on my mac!!!

ok so i'm asking a qustion a about Adobe indesign CS2! OMG, this is bad. I know CS4 is out i still have to deal with cs2. We just bought a new G5 and when i install the CS2 on it everything works but the Indesgin on it. I installed it about 3 times! no go. I even deleted all the adobe stuff off and started over. Not sure what to do here. I know i need to buy CS4! In the works of doing that, just hard trying to get the owner to buy it. Anyhow if there is already a question like this please let me know the link for it. Thanks PPL.

If you can give us any details of how it doesn't work it would be helpful? Does it launch, doesn't launch..etc.

The new Mac Pro machines use system 10.5, which doesn't support anything much below OsX, if your indesign discs are written for an earlier version of the macOS, you're going to be pretty much out of luck.

You might be better served by installing it on an older machine.

Try using migration from an older mac that has CS2 first, then reinstall, this may bring additional (needed) resources into your new mac
