Thank you Matt, you also remind me that there is a more manual approach too. If you make a PDF with down sampled images you will see which images that have lost focus, and can via Acrobat touch up be opeed to apply a final sharpening. This is a just-in-time fix, and one needs to be aware that updating the pdf will mean re-doing the touch-up sharpening.
