    Default File Format Photoshop 2.0?

We were working with duotones and stressing the importance of the EPS file format. An unrelated question came up about the ability to save a file down to the Photoshop 2.0 file format. I believe that this would provide for color adjustments what were eliminated after 2.0, i.e. the ability to adjust curves within Hue Saturation and Brightness.

Does anyone know if this is correct? If not, why?

    thanks

If you've got a copy of photoshop 2.0, it should work in theory. If not, probably not, unless you have another application that can manipulate that specific data in the file. When developers eliminate certain features, they generally don't include that functionality in later versions, especially if they do a complete code rewrite for a later version.
