    Default Illustrator dimensions plugin.

    Hello everyone,
I'm looking for some options on plugins that apply dimension bars to elements (like pouches and boxes) in Illustrator. Currently we are doing it with lines and arrowheads but that is slow.

What/how is everyone else handling showing dimensions on proofs.

We export the files out of Artios with the dimensions in it, but a quick google search gave me this:

BABY UNIVERSE Plug-in :: BPT-Pro3 :: Adobe Illustrator plug-ins. Your Illustrator become highly functional 2D-CAD program.

but if you search for yourself, there were quite a few different plug-ins.

Thanks. Mental block (brain fart) on thinking about looking at the cad tools. They kept coming up but my brain kept saying "I just need...".

I have a script that will add a horz and a vert dem. You have to set the object you want with the marks to a color named dems but then after you run the script you can change it back to whatever you want. If you are interested i can get it to you.

    Default Illustrator dimensions plugin...

    Just my 50 cent...

Open up your illy file in acrobat and add all of your quotes there via the measure distance tool. You can edit text font, size etc and even arrowdrop hairline lenghts.
