Indesign Server for Mere Mortals

I noticed on our new Creo Spire Rip that a copy of Indesign Server was included for a simple web2Print utility.

The software is called Easy VDP and has a few basic templates that can be edited via the web browser and a PDF is created and sent to process at the Spire rip.

Is there a way to add templates (I could not find a way) or some (cheap) software or scripts that would allow me (a mere mortal) to utilize the Indesign Server running on the rip?
