    Default distiller lost presets

Using Adobe Distiller 9 on my MacBook pro, 10.6.8

Never had an issue before, I dont use it very often, maybe a few times a month. Today I was going to distill a .ps file, and found that all my presets were gone, save 2 of them, PDF/X-1 and PDF/X-3. There were about 5 different settings I had and used at different times. Today they are gone, I tried adding the settings again, they are still where they should be: Library>Application Support>Adobe>Adobe PDF>Settings, but it wont add them in, just keeps the same 2

Anyone know whats going on here and what I can do to get my presets all back? Would rather not do an uninstall and install again if I can avoid it.

Have you tried trashing your distiller preference files?

Although it should do the same thing, have your tried running up Distiller, then using the Settings > Add Adobe PDF Settings menu?

I agree with Greg, trashing the Acrobat Distiller.plist file may help - it often does with Adobe application problems!

Of course, someone may ask - whey are you still Distilling? Exporting/Saving direct to PDF from Adobe Apps is the modern way of doing things.
