Make Menu Windows Persistent In Acrobat X
I would like to have the Separations along with the Pan and Zoom windows stay open through restarts of Acrobat (and maybe others as needed). I have searched but seem to find on answer.
Anyone know how to do this? Just incase inquiring minds wonder why, we just updated to Prinergy 5.2 and Acrobat 10.1.2, and the Prinergy Acrobat Trap Editor plug in no longer allows one to turn off selected colors, nor does it include a marquee zoom feature. If one uses the Acrobat marquee zoom, the Trap Editor window closes. However, using the Pan and Zoom tool does not close the Trap Editor window.
Since we do sometimes chose to close and reopen Acrobat, it would be very convenient to have those two windows be persistent
No, Acrobat won't reopen those (or other) windows automatically.

View>Show/Hide>Toolbar Items>Select & Zoom>Pan & Zoom
will toggle "Pan & Zoom" icon in and out of the lower section of your toolbar.
From the toolbar its just a single click to the icon to open the palette.
For the Output Preview icon to be added to the upper section of the toolbar, click on the "Customize Quick Tools" icon it looks like a cogged wheel, then you can add it from the left to the right column, order and add separators.
Again your palette will only be one click away.
Being able to add all my frequently accessed tools to the toolbar has transformed my user experience of Acrobat X and its initially unfriendly GUI.
Left to right I went for:
Kodak Geometry Editor
Prinergy PDF Compare
All the Pitstop icons
Insert from File (page)
what will you go for?
