Check F3 fuse at Accuset main board.
    1 Amp F3
    APIS Comms
located under J5 plug Apis to RIP and looks like a small cylinder.

they are small clear cylinders sticking out from the main board
just under and to the side of the apis ribbon cable plug
i couldn't get them out i didn't want to twist or pull to hard on them
    how do they come out

"Rip active" meens that accuset is ready but rip is busy.
    a) Check connections
    b) check operation status of the "buffer" (personality card, pelbox, laserbus...).

What way is the RIP computer connected with the accuset?
What RIP software/hardware do you use?

I’m trying to run an Accuset 800 with a windows 200 system using apogee pdf rip s2 v2

I checked the apis interface card and it looks like whoever build the computer didn’t put risers behind the mother board so no pci cards can ever be pushed in far enough

I’m hoping that when I recently moved the computer with the heavy apis cable still attached it might have dislodged the pci card a bit

The computer is at the shop now so in a few days I’ll find out if that fixed the problem

    Thanks for the help
    Adam
