Agfa 44 S won't boot up

When turned on, the agfa avantra 44S will go through the start up sequence, all of the items will come up except the last item which is "BRDG" the progress line will fill in completely, and I can hear the spin motor start up, but the unit will not finish and go to ready screen, no error messages, can anyone offer advice?

Do you use on-line developer machine or use take-up cassette and stand-alone processor?

We use an online processor

So you lost either bridge/buffer info at machine configuration database, or lost the connection between CPU brd and Br/Buff board.

Could it be a bad bridge/buffer board?

May be...
But I expect some error mesages during bootup procedure in that case.

Replaced the Bridge/buffer board, this morning, and the avantra booted up fine.
