    Exclamation CTP dirvers

Hi all, first of all i want to thank everyone that helps in this forum.
i dont know exactely from where to begin but i will give a try, we have a ctp, and an AGFA avantra 25, both of them have many problems and need to be fixed asap :s.

-->First i need the CTP drivers ( the cds are missing i just found driver for avantra25):
1/ first server have arkitex NewDrive and grafixRip.
2/ second server have Director, Arkitex Engine & Client.
Because we are implemented near coast the servers lifetime is lowerd and need to be changed, plus the second servers backup have some issues due to viruses.

-->Second thing we've got a damaged APIS on the MAC G4, ( maybe because of malfunction of electricity), i want to know how to get one asap and its price since we've got some issues with our provider.

Hope i explained well, and thank you in advance.

What model CTP device are you using?

We sell new and used RIPs for the Agfa Avantra imagesetter line. If you have a damaged interface card it may be less expensive to upgrade/exchange your current RIP towards a newer RIP.

You can visit our Imagesetter RIP-Kits page for more information:
Harlequin RIP Software for Platesetters and Imagesetters. Film & Plate RIP Software for Platesetters and Film Imagesetters

Depending on the CTP device you may be able to get one RIP and output TIFF files to the CTP device and drive the Avantra directly through an interface card and cable.

Can you be more specific on what it is that you are trying to do? I am not familiar with Advance CL. Can you give me a bit information on the CTP model?

I guess he means AGFA Advantage CL (based on Autologic Aii 3850 CTF machine principle): violet laser CTP, up to 160 pl/h.
I've never seen that driver available over i-net because low popularity (newspapers printing) of the device.
I hope AGFA will be more helfull than our forum to obtain the driver.

Vlad Canada - thanks for the information. I am familiar with the Autologic 3850 devices and we have a RIP to drive those but as you mentioned he may need to contact if he wants to continue using his existing interface card and cable. We would not have a driver for the existing card. We do sell replacement and upgraded RIP versions for the Autologic 3850, but they have to be used with the newer style interface cards.
