Default Help with: LP 82 Ultra - Error M12:3

Hi all, I´m writing form Argentina. We have bought this CTP and have this problem:

When I turn On all go ok, and then stay in inactive mode, then when i push the "1/0" buttom, the system turn on, and I get the "Error M12:3". I found in the instruction manual that this is a Hardware error, but the only explanation is "No Pulses", and I have no more information about in wich part is the problem.
The machine was stopped for 4 month, the last time that it was used all was ok. We have opened and revised the optic sensor and the electronic clutch at the imput sector this seems to be ok, and all the rollers is in motion.
I´m afraid that could be the main board, but I can not corroborate that.
Please if any body knows wich part could be the problem I´ll be grateful.

    Regards.

Main drive motor encoder does not generate pulses.

4 months down time for a Production machine!Revising the Clutch and Optic Sensor!
The Part was too expensive I believe, perhaps you had no business to be worried for or you had a back up machine.Who is your part supplier in Argentina? Perhaps you have to consider other sources with reasonable offers. Is it working now or what? with all these modification and Engineering work you should be worried about the Driver board as well.

Hi thank you very much for the answers.
Apparently the problem is with the encoder, seems to be dead, I have tested the "Two Channel Optical Incremental Encoder Modules HDES-9100" with a 5 V supply and isn´t consuming current even not 1 mA.
I´m looking for suppliers in Argentina for replacement but only one shop has to import this component. And the codewheel is broken and there isn´t replacement here. So I´m improvising a big codeweel in accordance whit the HDES-9100 datasheet, made with a transparency sheet. And the sensor with 2 comparator, 2 fotocell and one IR LED. While waiting for replacement parts.
If I fix the problem, I will be telling the solution and procedure.

    Regards.

PD: the CTP is stopped now, because here we are assembling a big press, all with used machines, from USA and Sweden because here we have no much budget.
