    Default Z3100 for proofing

    good morning,

as i stated in another thread im a happy with my z3100 for years now for RGB fineart printing. and would like to do contract proofing as well.

i never experienced the "red"-problems the printer is supposed to have doing RGB.

now with my first CMYK profile, the dark red is not covering the whole isocoated v2.
it could be my fault or a lack because my old designer rip can not limit the ink per channel.

so my question: has someone actualy used a z3100 for contract proofing??

    a) which rip?
    b) can u cover the whole isocoated V2 ?
    c) do you use the built in spec?

    thanks for your support.

GMG Colorproof does an excellent job with the z3100...but you'll need to use their media (GMG Semimatte 250) to take advantage of the extra inks and linearization/calibration.
