Answer is pretty straight-forward I would think....if you want the proof to represent the dot structure as it appears on the plate/press, then it needs to use the SAME EXACT screened 1bit files that will eventially be used to image the plates that go on press.

Yes, you can certify the proof with a Media Wedge....as long as the Media Wedge was processed using the same screening as the rest of the proof (easier said than done).
