    Default Adjust White Point

How do you tweak an industry Gracol 7 reference data set based upon your own custom substrate white point? We switched to a press sheet that is -6 in the b*?

There is a substrate relativity calculator excel file available from the Idealliance website that will do this.

If you open the data set in Excel, the white point appears twice. You can simply change the white point noted in the profile and then build a new profile - if you build the profile to have neutrals relative to the paper. By the way, you'll have to grab your Lab values for the paper; but you'll also have to calculate the associated XYZ values. It's easy with the right tools.

You could also perform a white point adjustment on the profile.

I have used the first option numerous times with very satisfactory results, and on a several different paper types.
