Thermal Users

Hi
My company is introducting a low chem thermal plate, and I thought I could ask a quick question to users of thermal devices. Do your operators know how to set the speed and power or do they need a tech to do it for them? Thanks for any answers.

Dear Tommy,
Please tell me difference between Negative and Positive Thermal. What changes require in CTP (Kodak Trendsetter NEWS) to use Positive Thermal plate instead of existing Kodak ThermalNews Gold negative plate.

Well due to having a contract with Fujifilm, I don't mess around with that kind of stuff. I would be able to if I messed around with the menus though. Using Screen 8up CTP.
