Same issue the diagnostics did not pick it up either i know it sounds crazy but in the long run the technicians got fed-up so they brought both boards in the E Box because along with incorrect voltage to the motor came up at times, it seem like one sends signals to the other and then did a process of elimination and found that it was the MCF board but, at that point running the machine with Drum issues like that could of damaged either board so we ended up keeping both new boards to make sure one does not keep fry the other vice versa $$$$$ change but had no problems since and that was two years ago.

For the UPS you put it right after the breaker but before the power box and hardwire the plug from the lotem tothe UPS. We use an APC SMART- UPS 75000 if you want pictures i can send you show the wiring

Hope this helps at least you have an idea of what kind of problem you could be having took us a while to figure out because it would not always occur noe would the lotem diag tool pick it up

Yes, but if i shut off the power of the ctp, the e-box will remain powered because the ups thinks that it have no power. So how can i shutdownthe CTP then ? By turning off the UPS ? Do i need a ups for 220V ?

None of the Creo techs ever solved a single problem on our equipment by using their diagnostics. Every single hardware problem was quickly and easily diagnosed by the symptoms by a field engineer. Creo never noticed this maybe Kodak will.

Careful Duncan, the Lotem 800 is a three Phase machine and so Alex can't use the same ups you use on the L400.

Do nut touch or change any of the switches. Take a torch and look down on the board and you will see the 5v and the GND TPs.
