Setting up Komori Bladesetter Help

I recently was given software and a request to setup software so that it will generate ink key setting info for our KOMORI L40's. Just started looking over the manuals and this looks
a bit cloudy to me.
Can someone explain the process of what is needed to make this work?
I am not even sure if our consoles will accept it and if so, how do I get it into the system.
What is required at the press to accept this data?
I read that a ppf file is needed, does the Bladesetter software create this file or do I need additional software?
Our workflow creates 1bit tiffs for out put, are these what I access?
