Default Presstek Vector TX52 - Who can help?

We bought a Presstek Vector TX52 (used) in December 2010. We were able to make plates on the platemaker until about a week ago when we suddenly had a problem.

In the status box it says "OFFLINE". And it seems I can't get the the platemaker to connect to the rip computer again.

I have tried lots. (after making a disk image backup of the rip computer)
    • Restarting and Restarting
    • New USB cable
    • Restoring the computer to a point when everything worked.
    • Reinstalling the rip software. (Presstek Momentum)
    • Installing the rip software to another computer.

Is there anyone that could help me with this? Thank you!

You are on a wrong side of road.
Look at Vektor as a problem source.

If Vector is the problem source, what could it be? Would you suspect board where the USB cable plugs in?
