ECRM MAKO4 fogging
Dear All,
we have ECRM MAKO 4 and have the following problem: the machine was working with Fuji violet plates. Now we switched to Kodak Violet print. We installed an optical filter for Kodak plates from ECRM. Now we have fogging on the plate. The fogging is expressed as tiny tone on the places, where the plate is supposed to be clean. When going to press, this tint goes on the paper. It cannot be removed by the developer and the processor.
Do you have any idea, why is this? I am really lack of ideas
Best Regards,

Best Regards,
Have you ruled out the plates / processor? If you take a blank plate and put it through the processor do you get the same results?
I have seen just this kind of behaviour before, with a bad batch of plates,
also check that your preheats / speed / dev temps are all correct and safe lights are OK for Kodak.
