Default Advice on moving Dimension 400 Platemaker...

    Hello
I am looking to move our Dimension 400 Plate maker to a new facility. What steps do we have to take to disengage Lasers if need to? And if there is anything else we have to do or consider.
Thanks for any recommendations or advice.

    Good Morning,
All you need to do is go into the Mechanism Utility and from the available commands, select Miscellaneous > Clean Cylinder. This will place the clamps on the cylinder and raise the lift bars to the image position. This is the best position for the mechanism to be in for moving the machine. Best of luck in your move. The Synergy Power backup connected to Dimension 400, is this required or can it be eliminated?

How clean and steady will the power be at the new location? That was the reason to use the Synergy back then. However, the Syngergy is no longer supported by Presstek so when it goes, you're on your own.

If you go without, you can refer to the attached diagram showing the power & wiring requirements. The Dimension is 25A.
