we're doing contract proofing with epson 9800 and gmg/efi rip, are there users of digital printer that uses this with actual substrate as contract proof. i would like to make the purchase for production use and at the same time as color contract proof for offset long runs... i hope others can share their digital press/printer experience... thanks

We do quite a lot of 100pp upward printed proofs on similar stocks to their litho/web actual runs.

Only in 1 or 2 copies and wiro them in order. This seems very successful for our litho printer clients.
