Hello all, Can I get an idea from people who just recently installed Xerox 800 or 1000, approximately how much do you pay forcolour click charges. I'm getting close to signing the contract and just want to make sure Xerox doesn't rip me off. Thanks

I am getting a preliminary price of .043 for letter and .053 for large size. Not used to paying for a large size click, we produce booklets so most clicks would be .053 on the Xerox 800 without the clear dry ink option. For our volume that is an extra $2,000 to $5,000 per month in costs.

Has anyone been quoted one click rate regardless of size?

Our Quote was also $0.043 clr, with a $0.01 large premium. Mono was $0.0069 (used a bump to buy down the mono price).

Interested to hear from Xerox 1000 users with a Scitex RIP We have problems running Xerox Colotech silk card stock with a clear coat. Lots of machine rebooting and down time.

Hello, new member here. We have had our Xerox 800 since Aug 1 and having some problems with it. Would like to know if anyone else is experience what I call "unreasonable" down time and loss of production. Thanks in advance for responses.

Hi. I'm from Portugal and Yesterday I saw the "1000" in Lisboa Xerox Showroom.
I must said that is very impressive. In quality terms, I like the green and orange colors. I liked the text definition (very impressive). The clear tonner is used like varnish in offset printing. I liked the effects. It's very fast - 80/100 ppm and can use 350gr/m2 paper.
In my opinion is a good equipment and can be great in a company with a lot of short runs because the investment is high (similar a 50x70 offset printer, in Portugal).
