I've worked withthe bizhubs as well as the ricoh lines. i would go with ricoh. the ricohs appeared to have more up time and less issues with image quality issues. just my personal preference nothing scientific to base this on...........

I wan unimpressed with the Ricoh 920. this was compared to the bizhub 8000 and the Canon 6010 VP. I would suggest if you can to keep an eye out at on demand to see what is new and what deals are going to be offered.

Get some test files. Go to dealer showroom and see how they come out.
I tend to lean to KM, mainly have used them more and have always liked their
    service guy.

What is the volume you would be producing every month. If your budget permit Ricoh C901 & KM C8000 would be better choice.

I was looking at the Ricoh 720/920 with a Fiery RIP. I felt the Canon 6010 and the Bizhub 8000 both performed better in the skin tones and gradients. The Ricoh had a lot of banding in the gradients.

I gave all the vendors the same files and told them to match the offset as closely as possible. The Ricoh was overall weak. Skin tones were off and a little soft. the gradients had bands and some of the solids were hyper colored.

We've had the 901 for about 3 months and it runs great. Print quality is very sellable. Our customers are very happy with the quality. But like any other machine, you'd better have the service to keep it running. We also looked at the 720 and BizHub and after doing alot of research, price comparisons etc.. we went with the 901.

    .

I have never heard of the Ricoh 920. The Ricoh Pro C901 is a fanatstic machine and should be seen before you make any decisions

    There's no Ricoh 920. There's the C720, C900, and C901.
