Default Running black only on preprinted offset shells (igen3)

We have a job that is about 30,000 14x20s monthly that print black only on pre printed shells from our offset dept. 2 lines of copy overprint the shell, the rest prints out of the image area. We are having a tough time with the dry ink easily scratching off in the copy area. Anyone have a recommended offset ink for our pressman to use for the toner to adhere to better? i know xerox does not suggest this, but we really dont have a choice in the matter if we want to keep this account. right now we are running enhanced image mode with some tweaks to the eip mode adjustment and it is marginal at best.

Could you run a varnish over the preprinted area to seal the black ink?

Make sure the offset ink is wax free.

We used to do our business cards this way. Try using rubber-based offset inks (We had great results with Van Son)
