Short run, high quality, hard bound books

We have an occasional need to print 200 or 300 photo books for special projects. The format they are wanting is something like 10x14, around 30-40 pages. We have done covers like some children's books are with a printed sheet applied and wrapped around a heavy board (not sure the exact term).

Just looking for ideas in general, is this size prohibitive? Can you recommend any companies doing this type work? Quality is very high on our requirement list. We have a 6-color half sheet size Heidelberg here but no hard binding ability. What would you recommend?
