Default Konica C6500 C-1142 stapler error?

    Hi,
Just trying to run a job, jam in the bypass tray, no problem. But now I got this C-1142 error, something wrong with the stapler unit.

It tells me to press help on how to disable (fine.. this job is not needing stapling) and then it just tells me to turn off and on the machine.

Try printing the job again and same error. Konica tech service is gone for the day, any way I can get this job to run tonight? Any tips guys?

    Thanks!

This is coming from Xerox experience, one time we got a similar error and it was the stapler head carriage (the bit that moves the head about so it can staple different parts of the sheet) that had jammed. Just needed to slide it by hand and the machine came back to life.

Hope this helps and isn't too late!

Solution: This was actually a motor that had gone.
