Default Slip Sheeting on Fiery Rip/Xerox

One of my operator's has asked the question if there is a better way to slip sheet a static document. Let's say there's a document that has a quantity of 4350 and they want to slip sheet it after every 30 sheets. The only way he can figure out a way to do it, is to copy the document 145 times, then place a slip sheet document after every one.

There's got to be a better way?

In your Fiery settings there is a mixed media tab to insert pages from a different tray based on the page number. This worked for us.

    Hope it helps

Don't have the firey, but we just duped the single page in the orig document 30 times and had digital press put slip sheet between "copies". so that way you get a slip sheet every 30 (or whatever number)

Re: Slip Sheeting on Fiery Rip/Xerox

What if you have a 16,500 page variable data PDF and you want a slip sheet after every 10 pages? Is there a (easy) way to do this?

    Figured it out:

From the Fiery WS: VDP tab-> Define record length at 10

Media tab-> Slip Sheets On (from tray 2 or wherever else)
