Default Xeikon 3300 on silver stock

We have been trying with limited success in printing on silver stock with our Xeikon 3300. The biggest problem we are facing is a blotchy look to solid areas. Not actual 100% toner solids but tint builds to simulate sold pantone colors. We have tried backing these areas with white toner and that does not seem to help. We have tried several different stocks and several different coatings but have not been able to print ann acceptable piece.
Is there anyone out there printing good quality product on silver stock using this press? If so, how could we go about getting a better result?

Actually the Xeikon produces the best results when the metalized stock is optimized for printing. Masterpiece Graphix produces a pressure-sensitive metalized stock (R1361) that is authorized by Xeikon to produce optimum results. MGX also offers custom treatment solutions for any desired metalized stock for the Xeikon. Masterpiece Graphix

the secret with unqualified stocks on the xeikon is to start with a qualified script and adjust the transfer values, i would start with high values and bring them down gradual until you start to see a more uniform transfer. Also lower the erase current if you see worms in print with transfers high.
Also bear in mind that some substrates simply will not run on the press no matter what you do.
