    Default Presstek DI Tools

    Anyone using Presstek DI tools? I'm having a problem generating thumprint( lo-res ) files for press. I can view plates, but unable to see.BMP files.

    Is the application that generates the thumbnails on? I think it is called DI Thumbprint or something.

    Yes, do make sure that the Thumbprint program is actually on and running. It will be on the RIP computer most likely. Look for the Thumbprint icon, double click to open, click the green "go" light. Also check Edit>Preferences to make sure the input and output folders are the same i.e. usually set up as D:\Images for both i and o.
