    Default Km 8000

Looking for feedback on this platform. We would be hitting it pretty hard (about 300K 12x18 per month) to start and getting more volume as we grow. Would like feedback on reliability, color quality/consistency, registration. Primary paper is 80# Gloss text but we do run about 15% of our volume in cover stocks (80#/100#). Is it possible to consider two of these instead of 1 iGen4? (Single shift operation, 6 days/week)

    Thanks for the feedback.

We've got about 360k on our 4 month old machine. When its running well. The printing is amazing. Its still digital. We haven't gotten perfect gradients yet. We have a call every 3 days or so(longest so far between calls is a week). They are for the same reason and our tech is working on it. We were at every 1-2 days and its getting better.

To be clear, with 2nd level training ALOT of the things we are calling about could be handled internaly. Drums/Transfer Belts etc...

Registration is good, not great. On text weight its better. We have, and the tech cannot get rid of, a scew on 100# Cougar. But its not really present on Gloss.

Overall, with a good on site operator, I think the machine could do it. The print is really good when its dialed in.

    Good luck.
