Konica 1200 Networking Problem
We have a new Konica 1200 but for some reason, hooking it to our network results in dropped connections and otherwise unstable connectivity between it and our network (ultimately meaning we can't produce jobs on it).
We've tried everything:
• Checking for IP conflicts
• Changing network cables/ports,
• Replacing the controller box/NIC on the Konica itself
• Playing with statically versus dynamically assigned IP address/WINS/DNS/Gateway
• Playing with switch port speed/duplex/auto negotiation (same on the Konica)
• Disabling unneeded network protocols and IPv6 on the controller
If we connect the 1200 to a laptop or other non-networked device, we can print all day to it. It's only when it's connected to our network that connectivity is lost. We have other Konica machines which are printing just fine while connected to our network.
Any ideas???
Thanks,
JM

I had a similar problem, which what was causing is that the pins within the network card, where you plug the ethernet cable, were superimposed. Check that. Good luck..

Have you tried plugging the network cable into a different port on the switch ?
Maybe a bad port on the switch ?
