    Default RGB convertion to grayscale

Is there away to convert to grayscale from RGB in pitstop without the photos flattening?
I'm loosing over 10% in the shadows. I'm trying to avoid taking all into photoshop.
    Any ideas?
    thanks

Depends on how your color management settings are configured.

    Check out: http://www.automatetheworkflow.com/cms/

I have found that Callas pdfColorConvert and Apago PDF Enhancer have traditionally done a better job. That's not to say that you can't do a good job with PitStop because you can.

Matts tutorial is very useful, highly recommended, I get excellent colour to gray conversions.
