Moving items in Pitstop becoming a problem

I hope someone can explain this problem to me. I have been using Pitstop Pro Vs. 7.5 with Acrobat 8.1.1 for quite some time now and it has been pretty reliable for the most part. But now I can't seem to get the items to move smoothly, they tend to jump all over the place when I nudge them as if there is a snap to guide function turned on, which there shouldn't be, and I am unable to move items where I want them. It just won't let me move anything with any real control!!!

Has anyone had this problem or know how to correct it?
