FSC yearly audits

We have been informed that we are due for our yearly surveillance audit for our FSC COC certification.
Last year we sent about $2,500 total to do this. (this included the travel and expenses, etc.)
We only run about 3 jobs a year, not even coming close to covering that cost.

Does anyone know if I would be able to "shop around" for a different certification company to perform the audit, or am I stuck with the company I received the certification from?
