    Default Alternatives to Plastics

    Now I realise I wandered into the wrong place but maybe some of you might be able to help me .I need to research alternatives to Plastic .Products that can do the same job yet be easier on the environment .Some websites any of you can recommend maybe .I am especially interested in products that are not widely manufactured .

    Ingeo PLA - Plastic made from Plant oil ...... don't know how widely available, made in the USA.

    Additionally Rock paper (Terraskin) made from calcium Carbonate + 20 PE..... made in Taiwan

    Don't know if the production has any less impact on the Environment.

    You can use cloth bags for shopping as they are safe and doesn't harm environment or else you can carry wicker baskets.
