Default Easy to find Links for chemicals , cas#,MSDS, SDS, ect

This will be a compilation of links to search out chemicals used in offset printing, silk screen, gravure, inkjet, flexo, letterpress, uv, aqueous coatings, foil stamping and other processes used in putting ink on something.
Please add any links that you find.
If you find data that is 10, 20 , 30 or 50 years old that means that the chemical has been under scrutiny, health investigation, or environmental concerns for a long time.
When you have a question on a chemical get its cas# and enter it into the following links. These are government funded.

Another search HSIS - Search Hazardous Substances
The MSDS listed on GSB are not up to date and are not what you recieve now. The MSDS from GSB are now handled by chemwatch and are by far the most comprehensive msds I've ever come accross.
EG: I recieved one for their roller wash and it was a 16 section msds with 10 pages of info.

This is the latest California PROP 65 list.

    http://oehha.ca.gov/prop65/prop65_li...ngle021712.pdf

Go to your MSDS or SDS and see if any of the cas numbers are on this list.

Now you must ask yourself. What is more important the health of my family and myself or the supplier making a profit.

The ironic thing about all this is the employees of the supplier making the stuff are exposed just as bad if not worse than you the user.

FYI, all of the Kodak MSDS and AIS sheets are available here:

    Material Safety Data Sheets

(or just go to Printers EnviroServices Program(PEP) - Kodak Graphic Communications Group and follow a couple clicks from there)

The hazards of this industry have been documented in the late 1800's and before.
These 100 plus year old books are about occupational hazards and diseases
Take a look at some of the studies. Some things haven't changed

    Internet Archive Search: subject:"Occupational diseases"
