Esko ftp ticket and Mass Transit
Hello everybody, my name is Ligia, and I work in Prepress for Flexo printing in Guadalajara Jalisco, Mexico.
I've been working in Printpack Mexico, formely Gipsa, for the last 10 years and I use Esko software.
There is an automation tool for FTP connections in Backstage pilot. The ticket for uploading/downloading the files is a perfect choice for automated tasks, I don't have to use an additional software.
Since we are Printpack, new policies about transfer files have changed, and one of those policies is Mass Transit.
My question is, how can I use the ticket Upload-Download files via FTP in BS pilot if I am using Mass Transit? Is it possible? I mean, we need to know an specific address, user name, password and a path, (subfolders), but in Mass Transit I don't have that.
I am not the Mass Transit administrator, besides we are using the Mass Transit Web Client X for Macintosh.
Somebody?
Sorry for my English!
Thanks in advance.

Hi Ligia,
I never used MassTransit but after a quick look on internet, it seams to be an FTP solution provided by GroupLogic.
I think that your company signed a contract with them.
In the features of MassTransit (link), we can see that this solution "Supports standard FTP clients, automated FTP clients and FTP Servers".
If you want to upload files from backstage to MassTransit solution, you have to ask to GroupLogic your host, user name, password and maybe folder.
By reading the features, I think that a solution exists.
Good luck,
Franck

Franck,
Wow, I really appreciate your immediate help, I'll be in touch, and I'll tell you what happened, I need to send a lot of tests and see if that can help.
Thanks again!
Ligia
