Edit InDesign Gradations in Esko

Am trying to edit gradations in Esko and it will not give me the edit dialog box. Can create gradation but cannot edit ripped gradation. I can convert to tint and convert back to gradation and then can edit but then have to reset gradation because it takes darkest color and gradates to white, and moves midpoint to 50. Any way of maintaining gradation and being able to edit.

This particular job was easy due to small number of gradations, but larger job needing global fix could be problem in future.

what version of Indesign and what kind of PDF are you exporting?

I just used ID CS4 and made a 1.4 pdf and it comes over and can be edited (within the color factory box with handles for the points).
