    Default Power Layout/Artpro

Does anyone using 9.6 know of a way to rotate art 90° without having to reset the transform menu every single time....a tool, a shortcut, or if there is a preference we can set to have this perform with a shortcut.

We need files turned 90° very often after they are brought into the imposition and the Apply graphics arrows are useless unless we know ahead of time which way a file is going to apply to the cad.

Power Layout used to do it just by hitting the rotate button or the space bar while the ruler was centered over the object to be rotated and you didn't have to set the transform menu to 90° to do this, you could just click off the path and it would rotate the paint.

In 9.6 there is a command for turning an object 90° but it doesn't have a shortcut and doesn't give us an option to set the key binding.

    Thanks!

We use ArtPro 9.6.5 and are able to rotate a selected item 90 degrees holding the "option" key down and pressing the spacebar. To rotate counter clockwise hold the "shift" key down and press spacebar. If you hide the ruler before rotating, then the item will rotate on it's own axis.

    Hope that helps.

    THANK YOU SO MUCH!
We looked high and low for that and it wasn't in the manual, the key bindings, no where. In fact the manual still says hit the spacebar!
