i currently recieved some files from a packaging company we used to use....they have sent the files as AP Files....we phoned them and they told us the package was ArtPro. A major problem, we found out this maily works on Mac's, we only use Windows in our office!

Is there any way of opening the AP Files in windows??

Nope, best thing you can do is ask them for PDF exported from the ArtPro files or I think there is also a option in ArtPro to export to Adobe Illustrator files although its is very old format v8.0 where general file you get out is a bit of a mess but it might give something to work with.

You can use ArtPrinter (Free). With ArtPrinter; you can convert (pdf) and print AP files.

PackEdge 10 can open Artpro files. Backstage and AE10 can also take them in and convert them to PDF

You canot open artpro files on windows. Convert them to PDF or Ai(you get older version).

jeffkin is right , you can open ap files with packedge 7.4 and newer
