    Angry Power trapper

We are running some evaluation tests on Power Trapper in illustrator CS4. We have immediately encountered some "Live Font" issues. The trap created doesn't follow the exact path of the font creating missed or thin traps. I have screen shot examples if anyone would like to see them, but wondered if this is something that others have encountered?

out line font, or do trapping manually on appearance panel for font.

Thanks for this. I am aware how to get around the issue, my question is has anyone experienced the same issue i.e. it is a bug in the power trapper pluggin?

    Default Text trapping

Probably the reason there are no replies to your question is virtually no Esko users have live text in their files. The text engine is so embarrassingly bad (at least 10 years old, and it didn't work then) it is virtually impossible to work with live fonts in Packedge and BackStage. As proof, just ask support for documentation on managing fonts on the BS server. At some point this year, lets all cross our fingers and hope they roll out a new scenario for live fonts usage throughout the high end editors and AE10.
