Default can a len file be converted to a pdf

our plate maker would like to convert his len files to pdfs in an effort to get them to print to his large format printer better. He makes prints of every plate so our QC department can use them for checking. Is this possible?

Not realy "converted" but you can wrap the LEN-file into a "Normalized PDF" with the wrap-task and then export it to a PDF with the "Export to PDF task".

    Do you really need prints?
BackStage / Automation Engine Viewer is otherwise the perfect tool for QC.

Default Yes a LEN can be converted to PDF with TIFF Pager

TIFFPager The Everything Tool for all Flavors of TIFF files!

TIFF Pager can convert LEN format to PDF at full quality with spot colors.
In addition it can also convert them to online zoomable proof formats.

What is the engine of LF printer? Epson? Which model?
    Don't you use FlexProof/E?
Well, what rip do you have for the printer?
A lot of rips like EFI, ProofMaster, etc. have the option to use 1-bit tiff files.

    Hi there,
if you are using flexoperfection as well, you can export the file as a pdf, so you will have a pdf with your scoop curve applied and also be able to check moire, etc..

    hope it helps.
