Stand Alone Signa
I need to move a Signa Station (3.0)
from the network onto a stand alone MAC
just for a period of time.
I have installed the Signa:
- Application
- License Manager
- License Server
- dongle
software to the MAC.
I can fire up Signa in Demo mode
but it will not fire up in licensed mode.
(And it doesn't give me a chance to enter a license key)
It says License Manager Server is not available.
I thought this version would run like this (solo with key and dongle)
but the latest versions needed a "Master" license on a central server.
Anyone know how to get this running?

so normally signa on your system is part of printready, and you want to run it as standalone signa.
perhaps there is two different versions

I assume, you have Licence server installed on networked PC and you access for licence from Signa+Licence manager.
It can be done, but can be quite tricky.
You should not forget, that Licence server uses dongle as a hardware protection and there is licence file, where your actual licences are stored.
First step on "old" setup is to go to licence manager, which will show, that everything is running well.
Find section talking of LDS (Licence Data Store). Export LDS into a file and send it to new machine, import it back to the Licence server via Licence manager. Be sure, that you really installed Licence server and set it running, in Licence manager set location of Licence server as "localhost" or "IPadress of machine - if set to manual (not DHCP)"
Wish you luck
