Polar 115 paper cutter fault code 85 & 89

We have a Polar 115 paper cutter that displays fault 85 [ and sometimes 89] on a very intermittent basis. When this occurs the clamp comes down but blade won't move. We don't have a list of codes and need to know what "85" indicates. Thanks for any help.
